So imagine yourself as a 13-year-old girl, standing in front of a mirror and trying on dress after dress unsure of what to wear. Your mom recommends something that isn't usually your style, but you decide to humor her anyway. Just as you're slip it on and beginning to smile, a sales assistant enters to tell you you need to wear Spanx.

Because that's exactly what you want to hear.

This is what happened to Megan Naramore Harris' daughter, Lexi, at a Dillard's in Kansas. Luckily for Lexi, Megan Naramore Harris is not one to sit back and allow this kind of body-shaming.
